1/2020: After 10 years of school life, could anyone remember teachers' names?

What is the best quality teacher you looking for?

This is my first ever blog post. I am very thankful to the teacher giving me a chance to share my opinions about the quality of the teacher's impact on students. 

After 10 years of school life, could anyone remember teachers' names?  In my life, I could remember only 5% of all teachers. This inspires me to write this topic. The best quality teacher, in my opinion, who makes good memories for students is as follows.

    Interesting!

   

The best teacher is a person who can convert complicated lessons to easy lessons, called Aha!! moment teacher or Eureka teacher. You will remember the Aha! moment teacher forever, which may be only 1-2 teachers in your school life. However, you may remember the worst teacher too. For me, I remembered the worst teacher who taught Geography. The subject sounds interesting and the handbook was easy to read with plenty of colorful pictures, but the teacher made the easy subject to a very hard and boring subject. The teacher assigned only tough works such as asking students to remember all countries in the world, having a vocab quiz about city name every week, assigning students to draw the map of countries, etc. Another example is that one English teacher taught one thing in the class but used different content worksheets and tested another thing. I learned that I will not do like them.

For the best teacher, Um! I remembered .........(I have10 years more of school life to find Aha! moment teacher. This blank space is for Aha!moment teachers). 

Meanwhile, I try to be Aha! moment student.

   

      Understanding 

     

The best teacher will understand the individual learning style of the student. For me, my learning style is learning by doing. I will remember forever. I don't love to memorize the information for examination, although I can do it. I will forget it afterward. 

 

    Right Direction 

   

The best teachers will not use only their experience and the present knowledge and environment to teach the student who is going to live in the future. The best teachers understand the uncertainty of the future by guiding a good learning process, clear instruction, useful resources, concise feedback, so I can develop and decide the life path myself confidently. Even I am going to walk alone in that direction.

I hope that my first blog will be useful for all.
