20/2021: Fundamentals of Aerospace Engineering Part 1
When everyone talking about aerospace, what do you think about it? Aerospace is how birds can fly and why we can build machine-like planes and rockets to meet our demands of "Human flying". Most of you might study some about air passes of objects in Physic class, but this is not what you think. Aerospace is more like a method that we use to design planes to be compatible with birds that we see since 2,000 years ago, but how we can make that object fly in the sky?
In the Renaissance, the most well-known artist like Leonardo da Vinci describes flying in his own methods. He said, "We should build a plane that acts exactly like birds." So he begins with many experiments with wood and papercrafts to be like bird wings. He also adds a lot of metal parts, that later become a bike, but in his time, it's a helper to move wings.
After the end of the Renaissance, Sir Issac Newton was birth in science. He found the power of earth gravity from apple drop on his head which become Newton's 3 laws of forces. The plane and rocket working are in the first and second laws which are about how objects move by having force push in the direction. Newton also designs his own designated wings which are called Airfoils. The wind works as on the higher part, air will be cut as thinner than the bottom part which will cause lift.
