How are you doing? For me, it's going well. Here I am in Samut Prakan located in the eastern part of Bangkok. I’m at my grandmother's house, near the sky train station, not far from the Bangpoo Industrial Estate. Samut Prakan is a province near the coast of the Gulf of Thailand. I am very near to the Mangrove forest, what a chance! 

Samut Prakan has the most enormous and unique Erawan museum. The Erawan Museum is a 250-ton bronze 3 headed elephant with a size of 29 meters tall and 39 meters long.   It explains the 3 worlds of the Universe following the signature of both Buddhism and Hinduism into the art of 3 level floors. The first floor represents an underground world decorated with Chinese vases from the Ming and Qing dynasty and also placards. The second floor represents the earth or the human world decorated with ceramic and European vases. There is a statue of Guanyin and a Chinese Goddess with a thousand arms. The third floor represents the heaven and Buddha statue displayed.

I really appreciate Samut Prakan where I like how close it is to the Gulf of Thailand with its beautiful and windy weather. Many places like the Royal Thai Navy 2 museums, Phra Chulachomklao Forts, and the Royal Thai Navy museum. The Phra Chulachomklao Forts was a Naval Fort built in the King Chulalongkorn or Rama 5 to defend from the French Indo-China invasion during the colonization periods or people called the Franco-Siamese war. Have you ever heard about the Franco-Siamese war? The fight made me proud, even though the Thai lost the war. For the Royal Thai Navy museum, it is about displaying all basic information about Thai naval strength since the establishment by King Chulalongkorn. 

Other interesting places to visit are the BangPu Recreation Center and the Muang Boran museum (Ancient City). In BangPu Recreation Center is where people can take a rest and relax with the beauty of neutral and enjoy in the restaurant. During wintertime, I can see Seagull’s great escape from China and other northern areas. In the Muang Boran museum, I can find many replicas of ancient places around Thailand such as Preah Vihear Temple and Sanphet Prasat Hall. It’s really creative that they can build an entire Thai ancient monument in one place. Have you visited BangPu Recreation Center and Muang Boran museum? 

The most famous place to visit in Samut Prakan is the Suvarnabhumi International Airport. I am proud of how great it is to welcome foreigners to a Thai-style international airport. Another place that I suggest you visit is the oldest Crocodile Farm and Zoo in Thailand and it’s the world’s largest Crocodile farm with more than 60,000 crocodiles.

Lastly, I enjoy visiting Sea-food markets and restaurants along the coast which have very fresh and delicious food.

Comment vas-tu ? Pour moi, ça va bien. J’habite maintenant à Samut Prakan, dans la partie orientale de Bangkok. Je suis chez ma grand-mère, près de la gare du Sky Train, non loin de la zone industrielle de Bangpoo. Samut Prakan est une province située près de la côte du Golfe de Thaïlande. Je suis tout près de la forêt de mangroves, quelle chance! 

Samut Prakan possède le grand musé  Erawan. Le musée Erawan est un éléphant à trois têtes en bronze, de 250 tonnes, mesurant 29 mètres de haut et 39 mètres de long.   Il explique les trois mondes de l'univers en representant  la mythologie Bouddhiste et Hindouiste en 3 étages   Le premier étage représente un monde souterrain décoré de vases chinois des dynasties Ming et Qing ainsi que de pancartes. Le deuxième étage représente la terre ou le monde humain décoré de vases européens en céramique. On y trouve une statue de Guanyin, une déesse chinoise aux mille bras. Le troisième étage représente le ciel et la statue du Bouddha y est exposée.

J'apprécie vraiment Samut Prakan où j'aime sa proximité avec le golfe de Thaïlande et son temps magnifique et venteux. Il y a beaucoup d'endroits comme les 2 musées de la marine royale  les forts de Phra Chulachomklao eLe Phra Chulachomklao Forts était un fort naval construit sous le roi Chulalongkorn ou Rama 5 pour se défendre de l'invasion française d'Indochine pendant les périodes de colonisation ou les gens appelés la guerre Franco siamoise. Avez-vous déjà entendu parler de la guerre Franco siamoise ? Ce combat m'a rendu fier, même si les Thaïlandais ont perdu la guerre. Quant au musée de la marine royale thaïlandaise, il s'agit d'exposer toutes les informations de base sur la force navale thaïlandaise depuis sa création par le roi Chulalongkorn. 

Les autres lieux intéressants à visiter sont le centre de loisirs de BangPu et le musée Muang Boran (ancienne ville). Le centre de loisirs de BangPu est un endroit où les gens peuvent se reposer, se détendre et profiter de la beauté ? neutrality? et du restaurant. Pendant l'hiver, je peux voir la grande migration des mouettes de Chine et d'autres régions du nord. Au musée Muang Boran, je peux trouver de nombreuses répliques d'anciens monuments thailandais  comme le temple de Preah Vihear et la salle Sanphet Prasat. C'est vraiment incroyable  qu'ils puissent construire un monument ancien thaïlandais entier en un seul endroit. Avez-vous visité le centre de loisirs de BangPu et le musée Muang Boran? 

L'endroit le plus célèbre à visiter à Samut Prakan est l'aéroport international Suvarnabhumi. Je suis fier de la qualité de l'accueil des étrangers dans un aéroport international de style thaïlandais. Un autre endroit que je vous suggère de visiter est la plus ancienne ferme de crocodiles de Thaïlande. Il s'agit de la plus grande ferme de crocodiles au monde, avec plus de 60 000 crocodiles.

Enfin, j'aime visiter les marchés de fruits de mer et les restaurants le long de la côte qui proposent des aliments très frais et délicieux.
