31/2022: Erwin Rommel Infantry attack
The German Imperial Army and Wehrmacht's most recognizable general was Erwin Rommel. His intelligence tactics of swooping between soldiers and armored vehicles made him the hero of both world wars (Grenadiers). He bravely and resolutely overcame numerous different sorts of wars between November 15, 1891, and October 14, 1944. The skills and expertise Erwin employed during the First World War are represented in this personal notebook, which was published by Oberburgmeister Stuttgart (Erwin Rommel's son) and translated into Thai by Sorasak Subongkot and General Banchorn Chawansilp (Great War).
Part One: The War of Belgium and Northern France, 1914
1914 is identified as Chapter 1 in this book. He served as an officer for Wurttemberg. He described his first combat experience at Ulm in detail throughout the full chapter that I read. He and the rest of his troops were moving towards France. He also expresses his sentiments over each battle and how to hash it out throughout the following fight. On the banks of the Maes River, Bled Village, Monts and the Forest of Dulcon, Genesis Villages, Forest of de Fuy, and Rampeurcour were all involved in the conflict.
The conflict in Chapter 2 continues with the battles of Jesnais, Chase in the Argonne Forest, and Pretz. Additionally, he served as the attack's commander during the battles in the De Feui Forest. Attack at Night, September 9–10, 1914
The Battle of Montblancville is covered in Chapter 3 and involves a retreat through the Argonne Forest, a foray into the Buzong Forest, a jungle battle beside an old Roman road, and some casualties for Erwin Rommel.
Part Two: The Trenches War; Battles in the Argonne and the Fog Mountain Range
Chapter 4 which was The Battle of Charlotte Valley started in the new year of 1914 and 1915. it was his first battle in trench warfare which was hell on earth. With high late Artillery fire and the push of his strategies, Germany finally won on January 29 and 30 with high casualties and Rommel said "the soldier die more because they didn't dig a deep safe trench.
Chapter 5 The Trench War at "Central" and in the Charlotte Valley. Trenches' War in Argonne mainly was the waiting for Artillary exchange. Kras' Attack began. Rommel said " the point of attack was to fake up between retreat and firing, so wnt the time comes they can immediately push the enemy, but the wrong thing Artillary of my our side didn't do was to destroy the key point. Finally the Attack of September 8, 1916, which push the french backward.
Chapter 6 Mission to Catch Captives in Code Area "Doorknob" New Combat Unit which became Mountain division. It's a mission to capture enemy troops in the remote mountain areas or Fog Mountains. They called the Area to raid "Door Knob" because it's the door let to push down the enemy soldier.
Part Three: The Battle of the Open, Romania and the Carpa Mountains, written 1917. (MOST OF THE NEXT BATTLES ARE IN EASTERN FRONT MOUNTAIN
Chapter 7 From Skurduk Gorge to Vitra Battle of Mon. 1794 which also push through to Lesului and Kurpel-Valari Battle. Hill 1001 Makra Odobesti also taken (it doesn't mean easy because most areas were mountain range) Gagesti and Vidra was the town in the way also been taken by surrounding tactics led by Rommel.
Chapter 8 The First Battle Against Kona Mountain. He also needs to march to the Carparion Line and attack Ridge Road, on August 9, 1917, and continue on to August 10, 1917. Then capture Kona Mountain on 11 August 1917 and the Battle of 12 August 1917
Chapter 9 The Next Battle on Kona Mountain. He led the defense on 14-18 August 1917 and the 2nd Battle on Mount Kosna on 19 August 1917 after that returned to the defense.
Chapter 10 First Day of Defense in Tolmie. Rommel marched to attack and prepare for the 12th battle in Izonso also including the First Attack: Hephnik and Hill 1114.
Chapter 11 Advancement of Tolmine on Day Two. A Sharp Breakthrough into the Kolovrat Stronghold. Then attacking Cook Mountain Barring Valley Luico-Sauna License Opening the way of Luikou Gorge.
Chapter 12 Third Day of Defense in Tolmie. Enter Cragonza Mountain then Conquest of Mount 1192, Mount Marasli (1356), and the Assault on Mount Matayur.
Chapter 13 Crushing across the rivers of Tagliamento and Piave on October 26, 1917 - January 1, 1918, Masseris-Campeglio-Torre River-Tagliamento River
- Klautana Gorge 2 - The Invasion of Shimolais. The attack on the Italian fortress west of Simolais and the encroachment through Airto and the Vajont Gorge to the Battle of Longarone and The Battle in the Grubpa Mountain Area.
In 1918, First World War end, but Rommel's job didn't end. During Second World War, he becomes "Desert Fox" from the control of North Africa (Afrikacorp). After his move back to the German mainland, he was re-assign to controlling the defense of the Atlantic wall. It failed to withstand the Allies' force. His life ended on October 14, 19,44 after the co-conspirator of Adolf Hitler's assignation.
