37/2022: Nanowrimo
"Let’s go, beat those aliens; we need to take their base; go!" Ryan shouts.
Another 13 space
astrologers follow him with fearlessness. Suddenly, Ryan’s friend, Minco, falls
injured. Ryan shouts again, "Everyone fallback, fallback, it’s an
ambush!"
"Minco! "You
going to be ok, man? Let us go; we are Space Astro, right?" whispered
Ryan. "I can’t! Minco replied, "Leave me alone, I'll survive;
go!"Ryan wakes up; it is a morning duty call at the Space Force base. "No,
I can’t forget you, man, Minco."
It is the 22nd
century, and humans have begun to colonize more planets beyond our own.Surely,
space is a mysterious place for a human who has only a little knowledge of it.
Many centuries ago, humans sent satellites into space, and because satellites
are vulnerable to being destroyed, many countries started setting up Space
Force units to pretend to be protectors. Later, the guardian of the universe's
role shifts to include both control and conquest of the planet around us.From
the moon to Mars, nothing escapes it.
Ryan Pandora is a
normal teenager from the countryside. He moves into the great city of Bangkok
to attend the Space Force academy. He dreams of being the captain of the most
special operations unit of the Space Force, the Space Astro. The unit has an
annual admission of 500 recruits. To be a cap, he must beat out 486 other
students for a spot in the class of fifteen.Only one cap for fifteen students!
He walks into the
reception area and asks, "Excuse me, where are the Boots Camp
sessions?"
An AI, which looked
like a normal human man, replies:
"Walk through to
section five and you will see a table; please wait there."
Then Ryan walks to
the table that was recommended and waits patiently. A strong soldier walks into
the room.
"Hello, my name
is Sergeant."Bailey, nice to meet you, first-year student. "Do you
want some coffee?"
"No
thanks," replied Ryan.
Another AI walks in
with a pile of paper for signing in. This also includes an archetypes quiz to
help the unit determine where the beginner can go.
"Bro, I will give
you 20 minutes to complete the form, and if you get it before, please bang on
the door, all right?" said Sgt.
Bailey. 20 minutes
later, Ryan bangs on the door. "Bang, bang, bang,"
the sergeant says, and waits.
"Hey, it looks
like you are a chameleon; great, we want someone who is adaptive." Let us
see which units you want to join. Navy? Air force?" impressively, Sgt.
Bailey.
"I recommend
Space Astro, sir!" shouted Ryan.
"Why, young man,
do you not believe that other units work?"
"All right, I
will let you join; thank you for your bravery, veteran," rely on Sgt.
Bailey.
The next day, Ryan
woke up at 5 a.m. and got ready to train in the basics at Boot Camp. "It
looks like there are many competitors, ha."
A voice came on the
intercom: "Attention all first-year students! We are starting the PE test
session in 5 minutes; please prepare your boots and get ready!" Ryan walks
in line to start the first obstacle. It is quite an extensive line that never
ends, and Ryan’s heart beats up.
"Ryan Pandora,
your turn!"
Ryan jumps up to
throw the first obstacle. The second stage is a wiggling, wobbly rope that
stretches from two sides of the wall. Ryan thinks
"I've been
planning this for years; let's get started!"
He runs as fast as he
can throw those lines with no fear or hesitation. He passes to the third stage.
This time, it's a high-up cliff with stages leading up to the other side. It
looks like many people are failing and injuring themselves by falling. He
climbs with sweat and tears because it is a long and exhausting journey. Then he
reaches the peak and ties up a rope prepared for him as support. It is a jump
tower station that also uses knowledge and survival skills. It looks easy from
the outside, but it's a complete highway to hell. He slides down like an
airborne, high-speed skydiver. Now, he feels weaker than ever before because of
how high and fast it is.
The giant bell rang.
"Teh-the-teh-the,
-then-teh-teh-teh".
"Attention
everyone, the first day of testing is ending; those who survive the test please
take the right exit to their bedroom; otherwise, we will count you as out or
injured."
AI speakers announce
Ryan walked out the door that AI pointed to and walked directly to his bedroom.
He thinks to himself:
"Why did I
look so weak?" "Why it not like what I have trained for?"
That night, he barely
slept, nervous about failing the next day. The siren rang in the early morning
light.
"The-no-the-no!
Attention, please, all members, battle stations! This is not the drill; I
repeat, "Battle stations!" The speaker shouts.
Ryan ran out of his
room at once with the battle uniform. He ran through hallways with some corners
that were on fire and had electrical sparks.
"Everyone
listens and stays calm." Get some fire hoses and a can! Another group
checked the wire! The rest, follow me to the weapon room!
It looks like he is
sensing something weird.
"Guys, get the
gun out fast; we have to defend the rest of the team!"
His team ran back to
where the rest were working.
"Be
careful!" he shouts.
"Wait, what’s
happening? I thought you'd just take care of the fire!" a first-year
student exclaims.
"Do not be loud,
I sense something!" "I told you we were going to yell, you
yell, all right?"
Ryan ran out and
pointed it out.
A deadly mouse falls
down the roof, "Bang, Bang-Bang, Bang."
The gunfire keeps
going until everything is clear.
"Cap-cap-cap,
guys, great job!" Sgt. Bailey walks in.
"You are doing
better than other groups! I see what you mean. This is just a simulation.
"Now let us count how many we have."
"Wait,
simulation?" The freshman asks, "I thought it was real."
"Oh, this
simulator is built by the same company that created Disney Land, so it is
realistic." We decide to use mice to simulate an alien
invasion."
"It looks like
you have twenty; that is great. The total is twenty. Ryan, you prove that you
can be a great leader. "Now, go take a rest at the cafeteria."
Ryan and the rest of
his team go on to the cafeteria. Other injury teams were conducting a long
hallway on the way.
"Looks like
there are only nine other teams left that we have to beat," Ryan’s
teammate happily said.
"I don’t think
so; we might not get lucky," replied Ryan.
The team had a
fantastic meal together. They share their experiences of the training they have
done and how they feel about the test. Suddenly, an alarm sound came up again.
This time, it is.
"Everyone, be
ready; this isn’t training, and Alien is escaping; please be careful with
hallways," the AI shouted.
Ryan shouted,
"Let’s go guys, go to the weaponry room!"
All of them do not
have a chance to finish this meal. They bravely ran towards the weapons,
picking up some guns to catch the alien. They proceed to the next section of
the base. All they find is blood everywhere. Then they catch up with the alien,
who created a trap for them. The alien defrauded the soldier. As a last-ditch
effort to stop the alien, a hail of bullets descended on it. Those bullets are
only the last line of defense between the deadly alien and the recruiters.
"Keep shooting;
don’t die!" Ryan shouts.
A man was hit by
aliens' sharp nails and exclaimed, "Ahhh-hhh."
"Are you okay,
man? We have to go; the rest will take care of us," Ryan says to his
teammates.
Then two combat
medics pull the wounded recruiters out of the area.
"What’s your
name, soldier?" The medic asks
"Minco Nary Dex,
sir!" scream the wounded soldier in pain
"Others keep
shooting; we almost got it," Ryan said.
The alien eventually
died, and thousands of bullets were aimed at its bloodless body. All the
members of the team clear out the area to investigate for more aliens. It looks
like there is only one.
Sgt. Bailey said,
"Excellent job, guys and girls; you have done an amazing job again."
This is the test of your awareness."
Ryan asks, "How
about the other team?" "Do they have a chance like us?"
Sgt. Bailey replies,
"Sure they have."
The team walked out
of the area with a senior Space Astro and walked in to replace them. It's the
first time they've seen the real Space Astro in person. Also, it was a
wonderful experience to fight and learn about the real alien.
"Omg, the alien
is super scary!" a girl shout from behind.
"It's okay, this
is an alien that we have to fight; it's our job," a tomboy girl responds
to the weak crying.
"Hey, hey, hey,
we did the job. For now, let’s go take a rest, all right?" Ryan asks the
team
"Yeah, let’s
go!" the team replied.
"No, I quit and
screw you all!" The weak girl cries and runs out.
"Are you Ryan?"
"My name is Mind Montana B., and it's nice to meet you," the boy asks
Ryan.
Everyone freezes for
a second, then they all celebrate.
Ryan: "You are
going to have girlfriends, girlfriends, girlfriends!" then all walk back
to the cafeteria.
"Yes, Mind, how
are you doing?" Ryan inquired.
Mind replied,
"Yeah, the test is fantastic." "I love to be here."
"Where did you
come from?" Mind asks
"I come from
northern Thailand; how about you?" Ryan reply
"I came from the
inner part of Bangkok." Mind answer
"You should be
from a very rich family, don’t you?" Ryan asks
"I don’t, but I
just have a great house in the city," Mind replied.
"Oh, ok, I see.
I see. Do you want to be friends with me?" Ryan asks
"Of course, why
not?"
"Let’s have some
great days together with our team!"
The soldiers were
still sleeping the next morning. Instantly, the trumpet sound breaks out.
"All the
soldiers meet in the auditorium before 8 AM! Now rush up!!" a thick man’s
voice shouts around.
The team gathers up
at the auditorium and finds out that there are only five teams left. The man on
the team shouts, "Yeah, we have another four teams to beat!" before
being pulled out by Sgt. Bailey.
"Listen up and
sit up straight!" You all know me as Sergeant Bailey! As you can see, we
have only five teams left. Each has only fifteen soldiers left to fill everyone
up! The next test that we are going to do is a metal test! You have done great
on the physical test that signifies your dignity and the seat you are sitting
in here! "We will start testing on common knowledge up to the last part I
will assign to you later!" Now you have a 100-question paper in front of
you! "Think quickly, don't waste time, and get started!"Sgt. Bailey
shouted instructions.
Three hours later, it
looks like everyone is stressed out. Many decide to quit immediately because of
how long it has taken.
The bell "Rang,
Rang, Rang" sounds.
"Time's up, give
the paper to the front, and exit the room!" Sgt. Bailey, shout
again.
All the recruiters,
with only five teams left, are waiting for the scores.
"Ladies and
gentlemen, the scores are printed out right here. You will be evaluated
individually, and the grades will be aggregated into groups by the headquarters
committee! Whoever gets the highest score will be together, and the rest will
go back. "We will have only three teams left and one team only!"
Then all three teams
will have a nice holiday. Ryan and his teammates decide to go to Pattaya to
chill.
"Guys and girls,
because this week is a holiday, what are we going to do?" Ryan calls out
"Have some fun,
wo-hooo!" the team replied.
Ryan brings in
volleyball. They enjoy playing beach volleyball together. Mind comes and asks,
"Hey Ryan, do you have any plans for the space force?"
Ryan replied, "I
mean, my dream is to be the Captain of Space Astro, so I will join this humble
test."
"I want to be a
pilot in the air force sector, but my dad is the high command of land units
(Army, Marines, Air Force Security Force, and Space Marines), so I have to join
and follow what my dad recommends."
"That is fair;
it is as if everyone should have the opportunity to choose whether or not to
embark on the journey. “Why don’t you... resist him?"
"It’s
complicated to fight against tiger parents, you know."
"Oh, okay, I see
what you mean, let me help you. "I have a friend in the Air Force sector;
he can bring some of his pilot notes and books for you."
"That’s nice of
you; thank you for the great help."
"But now, let’s
enjoy our holiday, yeah!"
Days later, they all
go back to the unit. Suddenly, unwelcome news occurred: the third team that
passed the exam was sick. Nobody knows what happened to them, but in the end,
the third team fell out.
"In these steps,
you will be helping each other name your worms." "Please be in
deadly, bloody names, all right?!"
"Sir, yes,
sir!" all reply
Ryan plans to name
the team "SEAL Red Squadron."
He says, "Guys,
here is my design for the patch we will be using." "Do you agree to
use this?"
Everyone shouts,
"Yes!"
"Ok, now we will
put our dream on the patch that can signify our team." Then we will print
it and wear it! Hurrah!"
Everyone shouts back,
"Hoooraaah!"
The other teams
discussed a bad plan.
Team 2 leader,
"Guys, we will be team three; now we have another team to compete
with." We will destroy the printer that will be used by that team. Then we
will have the price.
Team 2: "Yeah,
we will have to take them."
The next morning, the
patch design will be ready. Ryan’s team marched out together to the printer
room. Minco, who feels mysterious, rushes past the team to the printer and
finds out that it is broken. He returns quickly and yells
"Guys, Ryan, we
have trouble!" I do not know who broke our print! "What are we going
to do?"
The whole team runs
up to check on the situation. Also. Sgt. Bailey heard the sound and ran out to
check what had happened.
"Everything is
going to be fine, guys.""I know we have only two steps left from here
before you will be chosen to join the units, okay?"
Then he turns back to
ask the second team, which walked in very chilly, to print their patch.
"Who did
this?!" shouted Sgt. Bailey.
No one from the
second team answered.
"All right, you
all did not prove to be good soldiers! Do you know what? I have all of your
criminal records dating back to the first time you tried to injure others as
much as possible! “Am I right?!"
The second team was
still quiet. Then the leader exclaims
"You do not know
who I am?" "I am a general; I should get everything!"
It's your mind, brother.
Mind shout "Please
stop; our father will not be proud of you if you commit all of this heinous
crime."
"Chill, chill,
chill!" says Sgt. Bailey, "I'll let you guys print first, and the
second team will be meeting in the office now!"
Ryan’s team got to
print their patches, and they all celebrated, except for Mind and Ryan.
Ryan asks, "What
is the matter?" "Are mad at your brother?"
"Yes," Mind
cried back.
"We got the
patch, and it'll be over soon; don't blame yourself for other people's
mistakes; that's not good at all."
"My brother has
already applied to Space Astro three times, but he has never been
successful."
"I understand
your point, but it’s his choice to do all the nasty jobs throughout the
test."
Then Mind jumps in to
hug and cry with Ryan.
The next morning The
team is having a wonderful breakfast together.
"Nenonenon!"
A siren sounds.
"This is not a
drill! Repeat! This is not a drill! "All soldiers gather at the gymnasium;
officers gather at the auditorium, now!" Sgt. Bailey sounds on the radio.
The team works in
diverse ways. Ryan runs into the auditorium to listen to whatever happens.
Sgt. Bailey and
Mind’s dad are standing on the stage.
"Good morning,
all my officers, I understand that today you had a fantastic morning, but work
is work, and fun is fun! Our satellite found several spaceships running towards
our colony on Mars. We have confirmed that those ships are alien, the same
species that you fought in the examination. We want all units to be prepared at
the shipyard. We are going to defend humankind! Hurrah!"
"Hurrah!"
all officer
All of the infantry
(those who failed the previous test) march up to the ships in the shipyard.
Ryan gathers everyone
in the team and says, "Team, these are what the test prepares for us and
for which we train." "Are you ready, my comrades?"
"Sir, yes,
sir," Seal Red Squadron replied.
"Let’s go!’ Ryan
tells
"Space
Astro," the team replied.
Now, as proudly
represented by the Seal Red Squadron, we all march up to an especially prepared
space shuttle. All of them are proud and fulfilled by their bravery to fight
and win this war.
Arriving at the Mars
colony, the fleet drops tons and tons of space shuttles onto the battlefield.
Mars becomes hell for both humans and aliens.
"Team, we will
be dropping in behind the enemy line to penetrate the support chain of
aliens."
Ryan explains the
plan.
"Mind, I ask the
general for a fighter plane with an armed drone for you to cover us."
"Thanks, Ryan, I
will do my best."
The team charged into
the area. Ryan feels a bit quiet, like a trap.
"Let’s go, beat
those aliens; we need to take their base; go!" Ryan shouts.
Another 13 space
astrologers follow him with fearlessness. Suddenly, Ryan’s friend, Minco, falls
injured. Ryan shouts again, "Everyone fallback, fallback, it’s an
ambush!"
"Minco!
"You going to be ok, man? Let us go; we are Space Astro, right?"
whispered Ryan. "I can’t! Minco replied, "Leave me alone, I'll
survive; go!"
Ryan and his
teammates ran 50 kilometers back to the Human Force headquarters.
The general asks,
"Space Astro, why do you have only twelve left?" I thought you were
the best. All right, we lost a lot of good soldiers today. "Have some
rest."
In the camp, a lot of
infantry soldiers are regrouping to gain strength for a long charge that the generals
plan to end the war with. Ryan is sitting on a bench and asks himself why he
missed taking Minco back.
Mind said, "It
is ok; we will charge back together and bring him home." "Let us now
prepare; the rest of the team is waiting for you."
Ryan packs his things
up and walks to the team, saying, "People, thank you for your
collaboration, and we will bring everyone home." "Who's ready to win
the war?"
"Space
Astro," the team replied.
On the alien side,
the alien fixes Minco’s legs and wakes him up. "Young man, you will lead
us to victory over those idiot scum humans who left you to die," an alien
whisperer said through a translator. “Take your victory."
Minco appears and
yells, "Charge!" in an alien language.
The army of thousands
of ugly aliens runs toward the human line. The battle was very tough. and Alien
is going to surrender. Ryan also fights in the battle. Suddenly, Minco runs to
fight Ryan.
"How dare you
leave me behind?" They punch each other until Ryan replies.
"You ask me to
leave you; don’t trust those aliens; trust us, your friends."
Then Minco realizes
what happened and decides to charge back to the alien. The alien immediately
kills Minco, and Ryan kills the alien.
All aliens died, and the war ended with a great victory. Ryan and Mind bring Minco’s body back to earth and give him the highest ceremonial honor. The Astro team received a medal for their bravery and honor in battle. Ryan and Mind decide to marry and live together indefinitely.
